Shop Policies & FAQ

First, a word on Covid…

It is very unfortunate that Covid is still a major threat. To protect myself I am vaccinated and boosted. I will continue wearing a mask whenever leaving the house for groceries and not spending time with anyone unvaccinated. Rest assured your items will be clean and covid-free.

Accommodations

All necklaces or bracelets can be resized for free by request because all bodies are beautiful. All necklace or bracelet clasps can be swapped from a lobster to hook or magnetic. All dangle earring hooks can be swapped for a different metal or a clip-on for free by request. If there is ANY other accommodation I can make for you please let me know!

Custom work

To begin any custom order, message me either by email at clocknchain@gmail.com or by messages on social media.

When making a fully bespoke item for customers that is not just a quick accommodation, the base price will cover the initial design discussion, a sketch-up, and a few edits. You can also get an item shipped back for one more edit on gifted items. Be as clear as possible when describing your goals to me, because no artist can read minds. Be especially clear for gifts to your friends, and don’t forget to tell me it’s a gift. Excessive editing such as requesting me to start over on a finished item will incur an extra fee for my time.

For items that simply have an extra option for custom colors, small tweaks may be requested but the base design will remain. No large edits on custom color items, that’s what full custom orders are for.

My return policy

I shall accept all returns without question within 30 days, and you can still ask me about it after that. Bonus, if a jewelry piece breaks a few rings I will repair it for free! Please remember most of these accessories are aluminum not steel however, so do not abuse the chainmail as if it were real armor. Damage on a scale that indicates clear misuse is not covered. Long-term wear on the item from frequent use is also not covered as that happens to all jewelry and can be mitigated with proper care.

Holds

If you are very interested in buying an item you currently cannot afford, I can offer a non-refundable 10% fee to hold the item for a month. When you finally purchase the item, the hold fee will count towards the purchase.

Prices

I know some of these handmade items will have higher prices. This is due to the large amount of work I put into making each piece the highest quality. Some of the extra work includes maintaining my tools, double checking all of my work, discarding any flawed materials, taking and editing photos, and working on the website. All of that adds up especially since I am paying myself a living wage. As mentioned above I offer item holds, plus I will also do occasional discounts so keep an eye on my blog for sales and coupon codes.
